Erich, I read in aircraft profiles of the Luftwaffe that JG 51 scored 115 kills around Berlin in last 3 weeks of war & were equipped with the Dora. Heinz Marquardt shot down 4 Yak 3's in one combat in his D-9, ( Yak 3 was arguably most manoeverable kite in Europe ). Do you have any loss data for this time for JG 51? last 3 weeks?

I'll have to check my JG 51 files. As far as I am aware only IV. gruppe was equipped with the Dora and the A-8 and A-9 filled the other gruppen. Will check, 115 kills sound reasonable although trying to find the confirmed kill credits would be hard as after November 44 they were not actually counted. Jg 3 equipped with a variety of 109's, Fw's and the Dora scored pretyy highly for the defecne of Berlin as there were tons of targets attacking German ground positions.
