In the book Warplanes of the Luftwaffe, it mentions the 323 weighed 99.208 lb! & the 323 F weighed 127.868 Lb !! a new winner.

The Blohm & Voss BV 238 weighed 120.769 lbs.

Can someone comment on the 323 F? confirm or deny? I believe that was empty weight for 323 F.

Also this book mentioned that the ME 321 glider could carry a MK 4 panzer of 44 tons. Does anyone know if the 321's were deployed in north africa? Amazing that these could get off the ground with a mk4 panzer inside. It is possible that these could be towed to Africa. I mean that in a literal sense, that it was technically feasible according to the figures in this book.
