Are you sure it was banned? There you go like a bunch of headless hens running in circles The word is "banner"! A "banner" in this case is a long rectangle used in the signature. "Banner by Otto" means the banner was designed by our esteemed moderator, not that anyone banned anybody!

Sorry for the edit Stevin, I tried to fix the image, but the Forum doesn't allow certain charcters in an embedded image for security reasons. In this case it's this little thing: '
As for banners, Za is correct, I didn't ban anyone or anything. Stevin is thanking me in his sig for creating a banner advert for his website (which seems to be down for now), this one here:
As for the link that Stevin was trying to embed, you can view it if you click here:

And now back to your regularly scheduled thread on Soviet Weapons...

though heavy, the 12.7mm KSVk can pop rounds through concrete walls. Nice wepon at range for the insurgent types growing in the mid-east

The 150mm mortar.
In accounts I've read, aside from the Katusha, this weapon was also disliked (being fired at by it, that is).
Alot to dislike there, a Light Cruiser on rubber tires, that can hide in a shell-hole.
Half again the 4-duce.

Re: Favorite Soviet Weapon
That would have been a most notworthy accomplishment for any nation let alone Russia.

Re: Favorite Soviet Weapon
I have not seen that one before. I don't know about the 2000hp engine being avaiable to power it though. In the early 40's 1200hp was about all they could do. Also going from bi-planes to that aircraft would be a big change for the pilots.
