What is your favorite u.s. gun, such as the b.a.r,M1 carbine,m1 garand,m3a1,m1a1 thompson,.30 calibur.

I'm a sucker for the old and venerable M-1903 in all its variants. I'm a living historian inwhich I portray a 3rd Division sharpshooter and I utilize a 1909 dated serial no. M-1903...

Some great weapons there but I always go back to my M1A1 'Thompson' as favourite - it just seems typical of the GI in the way that the MP40 was for the Wehrmacht.....

I agree with Martin's comment on the Thompson. I'm also a fan of the Garand and the Colt 1911.

I've always liked the M1A1 Carbine for some reason. I also like the M1919 30 cal.
