Cool Late-model Tiger I details....

OK, no excuses for featuring that Tiger again....

Given a perfect September morning, no-one else around, and a camera, I realised that opportunities for a good, up-close look at a genuine late-model Tiger ( albeit sadly incomplete ) don't come that often in life.....

So here, for the modellers or just plain Tiger nuts among us, are some of the smaller details, just as close as I could get them ....

Enjoy !

That Cupola would make a lovely coffee table with some legs and a disc of glass on top...

Apart from your other visages, the monocular (in your other photos/where you're "posing") gun sight in the mantlet (instead of the binocular) is another give away of late(er) version.

Martin, not to make light of your photos; they are useful, but to a serious modeller you need to carefully photograph things that really matter. I found the shot of the top of the turret interesting with the upper plate being slightly above the horseshoe that forms the side for example. Or, the spare track holders with their hinged clips.

Well, yes, I'm a bit of a beginner at such things and time can be pressing when one's wife is waiting 'patiently' by the car.....but here are one or two other details which should be a challenge in 1/72 scale.....
