Hi! Indeed its a simpel and good video. As i collect this kind of items i alredy know this, but interesting indeed

Have a german G33/40. In a kind of way thats the K98 in light edition. This was used by the german Bergjägers and some parts at the luftwaffe but the luftwaffe had another stock.

The G33/40 was produced in Waffenwekw Brünn A.G. in Czechoslovakia.

Nice video!
Although, I would have liked to have see the Walther P38 instead of the Luger, It was used much more often. Also, it callls the MP40 a 'Schmeisser', but no member of the Schmeisser family contributed anything to the MP38/40s!

The Schmeisser thing stuck because GIs used to call it that, even though Hugo Schmeisser wasn't the designer, but rather Erma.

Nice rifle, I had a chance at a G24(T) which was one of the Gebirgsjägers rifles also used by the SS, taken from Czech depots Brno(Vz-24) These had the straight bolt rather than the bent like on the Kar98K.

Yes - I find myself constantly correcting friends on that one. Schmeisser was actually responsible for a much earlier design, the Bergmann MP-18. (The British later copied it as the Lanchester.) The Ermawerke MP-38 should more correctly be called the Vollmer - although German nomenclature didn't follow this trend of naming firearms after their designers.

Cheers,
Cliff.
