I'm going to guess it's a French issue holster, because of the stud on the cover and the closing strap (partially hidden here) coming from the bottom. The two external magazine compartments also make me lean towards a French issue holster. I could be wrong, but it's my first guess. A lot of captured French holsters were taken up by German officers during the occupation.
