I joined this forum to ask a question but whilst waiting for my account to be validated i kinda got it answered on another forum but thought id still post here.
Ive had this on my computor dest for 2yrs and suddenly started wondering whether it was really safe. i dont know anything about these things so was concerned.. my main question was .... could it explode?? might sound like a silly question but as i say i dont really know anything about these things. many thanks.

Lightbulb Re: German nose cone

The style of lettering looks WW1-era ; also the fact that it is made completely of brass. In WWII, the Germans economized by using other materials such as steel and various alloys.
