I may be wrong, I take that back. But if it's a kar, I've never seen it slung over the back like that and the stock seems to be too thick to be a k98.

Strange, it would seem to be very clumsy to use that in action.

Re: High Tech German military
Rather clumsy, it would be fun to watch it being fired from that wheelbarrow. It was a weapon more normally seen on say a Me 163, Me 262, He 219 or as motor-cannon on the Bf 109 G6/U4...
Wolfy, this was a 30mm autocannon firing at a rate of 650rd/min and a muzzle velocity of 540 m/s! You certainly don't want to see this baby firing unless it is very well secured! So what it does on a whellbarrow may reveal a bit of wishful thinking on the bearer...

The shocking thing to me about this weapon is the fact that it's tiny for a gun that fires 30mm @ 650 r/m. It's barrel is so short and considerably shorter than the MG34 in the other cart. It must have limited effectiveness on aircraft...

The problem is that it is electrically fired. Where's the batteries or extension cord to power it? I don't think wheelbarrows have batteries or receptacles in them as standard equipment....

Yes, Wolfy, that's why they were installed in the Me 262. I suppose the Luftwaffe forgot to ask you your opinion

I've heard of that cannon, and it's muzzle velocity must have been rather short, meaning that the Me-262 would have to get rather close to fire effective bursts. Probably not the best anti-aircraft cannon for its class..

What would be weird is if the Germans tired to teach horses how to jump from aircraft!
