Default Identify Photo of The Dragon Lady

My wife's father served in England during WW2 as an Aircraft Mechanic. The only information we have is that he was in England and a photo of one of the aircraft he worked on.

Does anyone recognise it or have info on his unit?

Check out this link. It looks like looks to be a B-24 from the 706th Sqdn of the 446th Bomber Group.

And another link that suggests the same thing.

DRAGON LADY (V2) (PIC 1)

Good luck with finding more.

Thanks,

I have entered the name dozens of times in my search engine and never came up with the correct aircraft. We now have info to work with and found his name on the web page. We sent in a photo and they put it on the page as well.

Jim
