"When the first contingent of WAACS arrived in England, the
Pipe Band of the Scottish Guard was there to meet them.
Pte. Harry Odam of Scotland tells 1st. Jean A. Geheria,
Auburn, New York, between breaths, that it is easier
than it looks.

"Scotland. Pipe Band of 7th Bn. Scottish Home Guard,
Gourock, Scotland. Pvt. Odam of Glasgow."
