U.S. joins axis
/ Discuss
Would you agree if the united states preferred the axis side instead of Allies... would the world map be different today? would Liverpool and St. Petersburg be ground 0 for the a bomb? (they wouldn't attack capitals as they needed the enemy leader to sign the surrender)

Re: U.S. joins axis
FDR considered Hitler a dictator who should be brushed away from his position. So how come would the US join the Axis?

I'm pretty sure this one doesn't meet the guide lines for this board. If you don't supply a bit more soon I suspect it will be closed in the near future.

Re: U.S. joins axis
I can imagine that the USA could join the Axis and it occurs like this.
Japanese and German Ambassadors meet with US Secetary of State Cordel Hull in June 1941 and come up with a proposal and that is that Japan will evacuate from China except for Northern China, Manchuria and Inner Mongolia and in a public relations Japan will offer a sincere regret for it's military invasion of China, and offers token reparations to China, while this happens the USA formally recalls all US volunteers serving in China, then Japan will allow General Douglas MacArthur to be appointed as an independent observer to the Japanese withdrawal and if it goes as planned the USA will lift all embargos on Japan, as the embargo is lifted the Japanese agree that the USA and Japan will work together to keep the peace in the Asia-Pacific basin by allowing both Navies to Operate out of both each others bases and so a deployment of the Japanese Navy is sent to be based at Pearl Harbour and the Philipines.
Now that the Asia Pacific Basin is secure in peace. A new figure within America becomes very vocal against Communism and that is Senator McArthy and America is caught up with anti-communist sentiment, but now the Germans by this time have launched Operation Barbarossa and America with anti-communist sentiments praise the Germans in their attack on Communist Soviet Union, Japan asks the US what is their feelings on Japan attacking the Soviets and the US replies that it fully support the attack, British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill announces that "An enemy of the Germans is a friend to us and will get our full support" and so Britain and Soviet Union sign an alliance.
This has put Britain offside with Japan and America, especially in America as a wave of anti-British feeling sweeps the nation, the very presence of Britain in the Asia-Pacific area is now considered a real threat to Japanese and American interests, Japan and America must rid the Asia-Pacific Basin of British influence. While this occurs Britain begins a unilateral blockade of Germany, America at this time has signed a lend lease treaty with Germany and now this is put in jeapody, America warns that any attempt to intercept any American convoy to Germany will be considered an act of war, Britain responds that any attempt to break the blockade will be considered an act of war.
FDR is now backed into a corner, but the USA will not be threatened by Britain and orders that the US Navy to fully escort all USA-German convoys all the way and back, by late July the first US Supply convoy leaves New York bound for Hamburg. Again Britain re-iterates her decalration of blockade and deploys the RN in numbers.
All hell breaks loose as the RN intercepts the US convoy and refuses to allow the convoy through, eventually the inevitable occurs the rival fleets clash a firefight occurs and most of the convoy makes it to Hamburg.
FDR enraged by the attack on the US convoy issues a declaration of war on Britain and in London Prime Minister Sir Winson Churchill issues a declarion of war on the USA.
By June 1942 American and German naval forces begin an unrestricted war against the British Royal Navy and the Civilian Merchantile Marine, Britain slowly starves, finally with the Royal Navy being outgunned is slowly being wiped out of existance the Germans launch Operation Sealion and by late July Britain is defeated, and as per treaty USA recognises German pocesson of Britain. This leaves the Soviet Union on her own is failing on ther western front.

Re: U.S. joins axis
Sorry for the bump but, Heres what would happen.
Nazi germany would successfully take over the entire europe union.
Japan would take over Asia.
Communist Russia would collapse
America would conquer canada and mexico and the alike after the war ends.
