What If? Alternate History: Speculate about WWII battles that never were. Could the Axis have won? What if Hitler had the bomb?

You see if the Allies or the Red Army used such logic, then perhaps there were would be no Germany today......
Russia did infact use such logic. Look at the German prisoners taken at Stalingrad; almost all of them died in Russian captivity. As for the Western Allies (I'm thinking of the U.S. and G.B. here), they were in a safe position during most of the war and did not need to use brutal means to win. The U.S. never even risked defeat during WW2.

@Sloniksp
We can continue by taking it through PMs.

Same with anyone else who responds to my recent posts here, to prevent the thread from going off-topic.

Earlier, I posted my choice of assignment. Well, with the help of Photoshop, here I am at age 19 ready to go with the rest of my crew! I'm 2nd from the right standing. The kid looks totally naive! LOL! (These other folks are re-enactors by the way)

I did a cursory head count and came up with too many, then I realized that there are two of the fairer sex in the picture. A nice contrast to the gorillas that round out the photo.
