You come into power in 1934..........
Imagine in 1934 you come into power, But you still have the same basic ideas as Hitler, What would you do differently?

Invade Europe!
personally I'm not much for genocide, so I wouldn't kill the Jewish people but rather recruit them muhahah! I'd invade France and Spain, and the Balkans all the way up to Greece.
Britain would probably war me, pfft. but I will do the nap thing with Russia. I'd try to invade Egypt via from the Vichy state in Palestine? (If I invaded Spain as I said, I blocked the med.  ) Gain the vital oil. And launch a crazy blitzkrieg heading straight, while have two other army groups as flanks to take Moscow! But I would mantain a bombing campaign into the Russian oilfields 
Im sure there is many flaws, but I never said I'd win.

Retire immediately, maybe buy a yaught, cruise the world, finally make an honest woman of Eva... settle down in the carribean and generally do my damndest not to plunge the world into the bloodiest war it has ever seen.

I would concentrate on Great Britain and Africa... instead of Russia and just as a percussion I would build a defensive line across the East to prevent a Soviet attack.

Smack France, Ally with Britain and Russia, Conquer North Africa and Italy, Invade Spain and Portugal (for the beaches), help the British and USA attack Japan, make an empire in Africa and retire to Spain.

If i was Hitler and came to power in 1934 then probably nothing different, but i would keep a hands off approach to any military action and allow the generals to do what they were trained to do, also i would have invaded Britain, expensive yes but the cost would have bee worth it.

Concentrate on economic development and turn Germany into the dominant economic power of Europe. Any military expendentures would be sufficient for defense. Let the others waste their wealth on over buying guns. The USSR would be hemmed in with a network of trade and military alliances and made dependant on Europe through trade manipulation.
The stagnated and deadended colonial empires of Britian a France would balanced by regularly negotiationing improved trade agreements with the nations of North & South America, and Asia.
The already excellent educational system would be given more breadth & depth and the likes of Einstein lured in with high wages and academic freedom.

At least if i came to power i certainly would not have a pogram against the Jews instead i would have drafted them into a National Workforce this includes construction and other building programmes and military service, and i certainly would use the intelligencia in atomic weaponary for future use.

what would I do? The most important things to be done would be the contructing of a real system of defensive fortifications in the east. I would know that Bolshevism is my ultimate foe, but would recognize that France would have to be dealt with first. Also, why start the war in 1939? Give the Luftwaffe time to develop its technologies, and let the Kriegsmarine because a viable fighting force.
