The Versailles Treaty is what started W.W.2 And gave rise Hitlers government. Without that happening what would Europe been like. And do think war would have not happen or was Germanys so mentaly hurt. The Omega

hitler rise to power was directly related to Germans economic chaos as a result of Versailles..had the German economy been allowed to run efficiently after WW1 with control of the armed forces not allowed to build excessively....Hitler would have remained a failed water color artist trying to get into art schools and still been turned away...

I don't think it was the Versailles Treaty that invaded Czhekoslovakia, Poland, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Denmark, Norway, etc., etc., etc. Somebody else did.

The Versaiiles Treaty served mainly as good excuse for Nazi propaganda.

Yes it did serve Nazi propaganda well. But we have to agree that it kinda chocked any initiative the Germans could take and seing as they were prone to start butting heads with the Checks (tensions were high) and they could neither field or equip their armies with the necessary equipemen I understand why the Germans were scared. The VD is a lot restrictive and it could mean that Germany would be in trouble should a war appear (and in the early 20's it was a real possibility).
