Operation Flipper.
What if Rommel had been in his HQ and had been killed or captured?
Immediate effects: operation crusader on the 18th of November (the day after the raid)
Long term effects: A new commander.
Could the Allied effort have been improved? Rommel decided not to engange XXX corps at Qabr Salih, an event that twarthed the allied plan. Would this have changed?
Long term effects: Would a new commander have avoided the poor choises made in 1942?
