Please think twice before making this kind of stupid what-ifs. Too many military mistakes had already been made by 1944. Nothing short of a miracle could have saved Germany from defeat.

After reading a good number of books, I came to the conclusion that this is the only way Germany could have won the war.

If they had the same resources as the Western Allies they sure as hell wouldn't be fighting in the West. The Germans had bigger problems in the East. Does anyone seriously think that if they had more troops and resources that they would be sitting idle just in case of an invasion?

Of course not, how can you domiante the world by sitting on your ass, I think it would be have been an invasion of england much earlier on, then that would eliminate one front to prepare for the russians advance , so Iron cross what if that had happened? With the extra resourses at there disposal, they took england and irelaand eliminating all allies in Europe but Russia, making no platform to launch an assualt form except for North Africa and Russia, thus allowing more Germans to be moved to Russia, plus the extra industrial power from captured england and the important Docks to possibly build a new Navy to watch the mediterrain, could that have worked?

Well, to be honest, Hitler had 15th Army at Calais doing nothing during June-July 1944, and also some 300,000 men in Norway, and some divisions in Denmark to start with....

What are the premises? It's pretty clear that the writer intended the Germans to have the same amount of war material as the Allies (which, in itself, was impossible). However, is he also talking about the same Intelligence, Logistics, and Strategy?

It's important to note that Britain had turned every single agent within England. Had the British known about this massive troop concentration in Normandy, they would simply have called D-day off. And, considering that a sizable portion of troops would have to be present in France, the Russians would have faced less opposition.

Of course, the war would be longer. But the first atom bombs were slated to be dropped on Germany, not Japan.

Hey! The Germans get atoms bombs too! Same resources right?

But does that mean the Germans have to give up Rommel & Guderian. After all brain power is a resource.
