| What If? Alternate History: Speculate about WWII battles that never were. Could the Axis have won? What if Hitler had the bomb? |

What if Market Garden was a success?
We all know of the operation which was to go deep into Holland and the goal was to finish the war in december.
Now that did not happen. The operation was said to be a disaster and many casaulties were brought as well. What if the Operation pulled out to be a success story? What would have changed for the Axis strategy? Would the war really have been finished at the date many people assumed it was going to finish (X-mas 1944 I've read)? What about the soviets if it changes anything for them as well?

They usually appear at the bottom of the page when you post the thread too. Under "Similar Threads".

Re: What if Market Garden was a success?
we would have been able to move our tanks and troops through to germany and would have probably been able to end the war
