Default What if Hitler never did exist?
I'm curious, how would the world be today if Hitler never rise and came to power... would we even exist? I'm getting this from the depression during the 1930's, how long would it last... could it be halted by the Soviets and Japans by starting a war against US in later time period.
How about the germans being undeployment, the holocause never actually happen?
What consequences were there if ww2 hadn't started??

Stephen Fry's novel "Making History" offers an interesting angle on this, inspired by Daniel Goldhagen's views on the subject.

that book has more to do with gay movement that alternative history, very unoriginal in the historical context too(borrowed from 'Fatherland'?)
