If so, I am looking for another copy of Casca #4 Panzer Soldier. Pls let me know and thanks. This auther is the one who came up with the somgs: The Green Berets ~and~ The A-Team. I think he wrote around 30+ books in all with 24 being in the Casca series.

I have read some Casca books. My favorite one is Panzer soldier too, with Legionnaire coming in as a close second.

Yeah, it's a good, brain candy,sort of book. The whole series of books are written that way-historically accurate when they need to be, but taking great leaps in accuracy, in between. I've been reading and enjoying them since the late 70's. They are fun, if nothing else. Best wishes, John.

Thanks for the reply John. I agree, they do stretch the truth widely, but are great reads. I first read one in the early 1980s, and could not put it down. I think my first one was "Legionnaire". I was so angry at myself for reading the whole book in one sitting. I quickly got over my anger at myself when I found other copies of the book in a used bookstore. The next books I found were: Panzer Soldier, The Barbarian, The Warrior and The Conquistador.

I liked all of them except the one where he was a warrior on some pacific island.
