Guys :

Check this link for an interesting periodical.

www.merriam-press.com/m_213.html

price for the soft-bound book can't be beat ! This firm had once about a time produced the very interesting WW 2 Journal back in the late 60's, early 70's.
Just purchased the guided bombs monograph from Ray today for a cool $10.00.....

No actually......rubber butt plates and winter trigger guards......exiciting eh ?

on a serious end, why I don't know......uh, hmmmmmm, there is some pretty interesting reading from the M Press. Price seems to be right too, a fine naval study dealing with the Atlantic to the Baltic which I am seriously eyeing.

The German mines book actually might be interesting. Glass mines--wooden mines--shoebox mines, tellermines, etc. I once saw a nice photo on ebay that showed about 10 German soldiers planting mines on a dirt road from what looked like Italy. I had been bidding on it and some jerk sniped me at the last second. This was a very cool PK Press photo. This sniping happened to me about 2 yrs ago and im still peeved about it.

Well--when the Oberleutnant sniper photo (main page in circle) came up for sale and the Hptm Peter Kiesgen w/ Panzerfaust photo came up--this same jerk tried to snipe me on both pics and I waited for the last 6-7 seconds and bid against him and got two of three photos I wanted--the other was another photo with a different RKT instructing some volksstrum on the firing of a Panzerfaust--it too was the original and is also a very famous photo. Needless to say--this guy doesnt bid against me any longer.
