Hallo, gentlemen!
I have been given an splendid present (I think). It is the momoirs of Standartenführer Otto Skorzény, tittled "The Unknown War".
Have you got any opinions on it? I want to know what I am going to read... But no ending telling, OK! I hate that !

I've got a copy of 'Skorzeny's Special Missions' written by him and published in 1957. Is it the same thing ?

God, you're fast, Martin!!!
I have no idea. What do you say if I post later the names of the chapters so we can compare them and we will find out if it is the same. OK?

Strangely, 'Skorzeny's Special Missions' has no chapter headings, only numbers. There's no index, either ! But it is his own story of his WWII experiences until 1948 and is an important source of information for his activities in the Ardennes.

( Strictly off-topic, Friedrich, but just for you I'll divulge that my all-time favourite film ever is Sam Peckinpah's 'The Wild Bunch'. No romance in that one, mate !! )

You should know me better than that by now, Friedrich !
That is the immortal line, spoken by William Holden ( as 'Pike' ) as the Bunch break into the bank just before the first shootout . . .
