Uk, Peter wrote this book originally for his grandchildren who were asking "Opa, what did you do in the war".............and that is the basis for the whole book without delving into specifics though I tried my best to push him a little on this, so of course some expectations are not fully met

Yes, as has been said all along, this is not a 'cracking good war yarn', it's much more a man's personal thoughts and selected experiences. It remains valuable as the personal reminiscences of Nachtjagd aces are very rare....
