Carl: I feel like wanting to kiss you! You have no idea of how grateful I am with you by giving me this utmost excellent book!
I started and finished it yersterday and what can I say? Yes, I read very fast, but also the book trapped me. Knappe's narrative is very simple but very interesting and necessarily detailed. It is not symbolist nor realistic; it's just perfect! The pictures are really good and all the chapeters describe extremely well many campaigns and battles of the war! Many famous characters and places. The book is some times very humourous, another times is very pleasing, very dramatic, etcera. A whole bunch of feelings are ready for you to read it! I fully recomend it! And now, my dear Carl, you have to hurry up and send me a PM or an e-mail with your new flat's adress so I can send you a letter and some gifts! (maybe a PLM...) Ha! You wish!
