Cassell have re-published the memoirs of Hans Von Luck, its a classic. Just reading it at the moment, must be one of the best books I have read in a while, and it has some amusing and moving anecdotes. I will endeavour to write some up, espcially the one where he has Monty and Churchill in his sights...

It is a good book. I picked up a copy of it several months ago at Barnes & Nobles.
Also, I wish that Franz Kurowski would do more books like Panzer Aces and Infantry Aces. Such as: Gebirgsjager Aces, Jager Aces, Scharfschutzen Aces etc.

Yeah--i'd like to see that and also one on Luftwaffe Flak 88 Gunners. I think that'd be real cool as well.
If Kurowski doesn't know any RKTs in Flak--well I can supply him with a few names--enough to fill a book with

What about female flak gunners? they ever engage armoured units?

Red/Carl....
the books have already been done in Germany in past years.....
biblio-verlag is covering all the receipients in some astounding multi-volume works. Each volume is running in the area of $ 110.00 + US. Can be purchased through their web-site or through JJF in Canada.
The Fallshirmtruppen book is a single volume and the Falk is two volumes. From what I hear some very nice and clear photos throughout along with full bio's.

Hi Red--I don't know the answer to your question.
thanks for this info too Erich--trouble is that not only are their books in Deutsch but--too expenzive for me to spend that kind of money on if I can't read and understand everything in the book.
Might be good for the lists though
