Just heard that Robert Rudhall passed away yesterday, taken from us by cancer.

Robert was an important and enthusiastic writer of the UK warbird scene. Deputy Editor of 'FlyPast' magazine for many years, he recently wrote two definitive books about the making of the movie 'Battle Of Britain' ; a subject dear to his heart - every word betrayed his great love for that film ! Very recently, he had accepted Editorship of the 'Bomber Command Association Newsletter'.

He was an unassuming, modest man and he will be very sadly missed.

Sad to hear this too. R.I.P.

Also there's another thread around here informing on the death of politician and historian Roy Jenkins, a very important political biographer...
