I am writing on behalf of my mother-in-law, Mariel Beeman Kepler, author of WWII, Men and Women in Service, Richland County, WI. The book is a large, hard-bound, 311-page book published in the latter part of 2002, and it was accepted into the Library of Congress in 2004. It is a large collection of letters, local news articles, copies of WWII memorabilia (Gold Star Certificate, ration stamps, the dreaded telegram, etc.). Mariel is donating the profits from this book towards the establishment of a Richland County all-wars veterans memorial in Richland Center, WI. She has about 250 books available for sale.
