Daniel Jones is an unknown quantity at this point
I just finished a book chronicling the history of the German soldier from 1648 to the present. The book was quite ineteresting and did a good job providing background on the German soldier that explained his later troubles in the First and Second World Wars. Sections of the book dealing with earlier German history were handled with a bit more detail, while the chapters concerning the German soldiers experience in the Second World War I found to be a bit lacking. Has anyone else read this work and if so, what did you think?
