The University of North Texas Press is publishing the new book this month. The Dallas Morning News published the first of two-excerpts on the front page of the Sunday edition. It certainly gripped my attention. The second will be published Sunday August 19, 2007. Written by Craig Hanley, the story is by Michael Schiff of his parents. His father was sent to Auschwitz while his mother was sent to Czestochowa Slave Labor Camp. William’s wit helped keep him alive while Oskar Schindler saved Rosalie. The two Polish Jews survive six different German slave and prison camps throughout the Holocaust. Should be a good read.
