Default Colossal Cracks: Montgomery's 21st Army Group in Northwest Europe, 1944-45 by S.A. Hart

Amazon.co.uk: Colossal Cracks: Montgomery's 21st Army Group in Northwest Europe, 1944-45 (Stackpole Military History): Montgomery's 21st Army Group in Northwest Europe, 1944-45 (Stackpole Military History): Books: Stephen Ashley Hart

Any views? A fascinating exposition of the politico-strategic context of the war fought by 21st Army Group and the effect it had on the means used to achieve its military objectives.

Should end the 'Monty was an arrogant pounder' debate that has gone on for far too long. Arrogant little shit - yes, skillful exploiter of the offensive possibilities of a fragile army - yes, yes, thrice yes.

Sadly the writer and publisher show a lack of interest in written English and copy editing that is downright scandalous.
