Default The Route As Briefed - 92nd BG - John Sloan

I wonder if anyone is familiar with the book The Route As Briefed - History of the 92nd Bombardment Group USAAF 1942-1945 by John S. Sloan, published by Argus Press?

I just got it after buying it from Ebay and it surprised me that it seems to be a bunch of photocopied pages (back of pages are blank!), bound into a book. Some of the pages are not copied all that well either.... I looked online and it seems that this book was published in this manner by Argus.

Does anybody know at all if this book was published as described or if this might be a enthusiast's effort???

TIA

Stevin

Red face Re: The Route As Briefed - 92nd BG - John Sloan

Hello Stevin

I can't be a great deal of help as I haven't handled a copy. It was on my 'wants' list but a copy I watched on e-bay a year ago went for 'silly' money.....

It was originally published by Argus ( of Cleveland, Ohio ) in 1946 and has been reprinted in facsimile in 1976 and I believe subsequently ( copies are available from 92nd BG Ass'n's PX ).

Thanks Martin. very much appreciated.

This is definately not the 1946 edition, but for GBP 8 I thought I couldn't go much wrong...Got it with a copy of 1,000 destroyed, Life and Times of the 4th Fighter Group and a copy of Down Ramps saga of the RN landingscraft crews from Tobruk to Kiel.
