Default new books from Lela Presse - the Curtiss Hawk

....a new book by Lionel Persyn on the operational history of the Curtiss H-75 in Armée de l'Air service - Phoney War to post-war - featuring day-by-day coverage of the activities of the various French Groupes de Chasse equipped with the Hawk, rare combat accounts, loss & victory lists etc etc..

The book is a large one; 400+ pages, 700+ photos - with detailed English-language photo captions. Taken as a whole these amount to some 35 pages alone and include much additional commentary extracted from the French text ..

Another interesting title from Lela Presse is this photographic compilation - entitled 'Debacle - what the Germans discovered as they advanced through France' - 400 + images taken from German photo albums during the Battle for France (English captions). This is a 100-page A4 softbook & retails for €14

Yes, one of my absolute priorities. I can't wait to buy the one with the crashed aircraft. There is Potez 63 that fell near my home featured in there.
I'm impressed by the fact that you knew about that one too! It will be for sale in a few weeks from now

Thank you Skipper - I did in fact work on these publications which is why I'm very proud to announce them on English-speaking forums. These complement Cornwell's new ATB book very well ..indeed. The 'Debacle' book is fascinating - a myriad French types (and prototypes) were captured by the Germans.

I heard about it too late, I could have helped too with the aircrafts lost around the Loire valley in June 1940. Can't wait to get both books. I already buy a lot from Lela , especially the special issues from Avions Magazine. Good to know you helped with their works. I hope there will be documents about the RAF losses. too. I have quite a few pics and stories and don't always know the dates + crashsites etc...
