"Givin Up For Dead" is a great book about a battle that most people have forgoten, the battle of Wake Island. It was writen by Bill Sloan who I think is a very good auther. It has the story of people who were there! Senator James Web also thinks it is one of the greatest acounts of WWII he has ever read!

I suggest this book!!!! Pick it up from your local library!!

Been wanting to get a copy of this for a while thanks for recommendation james webb, is no slouch as a author either Fields of fire and A sense of honour were brilliant.
