Re: E-books
Thanks Za, I'm impressed by the large choice even though I prefer an old fashioned printed book, rather than having to read it on a screen or print it myself for a price that would possibly exceed the printed version. on the other hand it's great to have these books that are available this way and would maybe be difficult or impossible to get otherwise.

Re: E-books
I agree they are awkward to read "on the throne" but I have a few loaded on my PDA for while travelling. And you won't find many of these reports on the regular press.

Re: E-books
And if you want to read the USAF Historical Studies in thier original form here is a good site. Quite a bit of WWII subjects.
AFHRA: Numbered USAF Historical Studies: 151-200
And the USAF Historical publications

Re: E-books
Not quite the same, but I find Armor Magazine (such spelling!) quite good with occasional WW2 material, even if they require a password for access to issues after 2000
See here for a sample:

Re: E-books
Would you gentlemen mind also adding the links mentioned above in this thread?
Websites for WWII or Related Research (i.e. Family History)
While it is in the information request area, it has links to all kinds of WWII sites.
Thanks for these new ones, as I'll also be adding them to my favourites.

I keep meaning to ask Otto if he would pin the website thread so that it doesn't get lost! Perhaps if it had the family history bit taken out of the title it might register on more people as a place to list interesting links. I just wish I had enough time to read everything I find online, that others on the Forum post, as well as the books I've been acquiring!

Even though it says "session expired" just click on the "OK" and it will take you to the site.
