Re: Eastern Front & OrBat books.
If you can find them I recommend W. Victor Madeja's Russo-German War series (10 volumes about the size of an Osprey book) by Valor Publishing Co. They include good OOB's that go to minimally division level and often to battalion level. There are numerous maps showing deployment of units almost by week in critical periods and minimally by month otherwise.
Update: You can still get them.

Re: Eastern Front & OrBat books.
I just bought Bloody Streets The Soviet assault on Berlin by Stephan Hamilton. It is a very good with awesome pictures. I also just received Operation Citadel A text and Photo Album Volume 2:The North. It has the best collection of Eastern front pictures I have ever seen. I mean this book is filled with some very good combat pictures. It also has quality pics of the equipment from both sides. This book is my favorite eastern front book but it was expensive. It also includes maps and very good information. I recommend it despite the cost.

Re: Eastern Front & OrBat books.
Thanks Vet, Opana, i'll look for those books as well.
I'm also looking for any good books about the Germans attacks towards Moscow in 41-as well as most anything dealing w/ Army Group South, the Crimea and battle for Mount Elbrus.
