Default New book highlights WWII heroes from the nation's First State

"World War II Heroes of Southern Delaware" profiles 50 ordinary Americans who did extraordinary things during a time unrivaled in the history of the world. There are stories from Iwo Jima, D-Day, Pearl Harbor, the Battle of the Bulge and much, much more.

Everyone in the book has ties to southern Delaware, but it is not about the nation's first state. Their stories emcompass Europe, Asia, Africa and North America; they are personal, emotional and very, very real.

Check out World War II Heroes of Southern Delaware by James D. Diehl for more information.
