What does anyone know about the band of brothers movie that will be on HBO in septmber. I would like to know anything I can about the movie.

Hi Guys: The series is out on DVD and VHS. I have only seen them on eBay and the prices are high. DVD 80.00 and up, VHS 60.00 and up. Each one is ten dvds or vhs tapes.

I takeit you are talking US$ here. And you think thats expensive. In the UK it will be about the same, but in £Sterling, possible more.

I have watched the ten chapters already and I can tell you this: a Tiger and a Jagdpanther massacre a lot of Shermans and Cromwells during Market Garden!!! A lost of half-tracks 251, many C-47s, general McAuliffe, a Marder, Stugs, Fallschirmjäger, A Leibstandarte Lieutenant and a German Generalleutnat with RK with Oak Leaves and Swords!!!!! Do you want to listen to the end?!!! And I have it already on tape!!!!

Just FYI, those DVD and VHS copies of Band of Brothers on eBay are bootlegs. Some folks have been hawking those since the series first premiered. A DVD burner and a nice laser printer can make up some cases and DVD labels that look professional.

Word at comingsoon.net is Band of Brothers set is due to be released in the US around first of November. Price will probably be around 100-120 (guessing from how they packaged 'From the Earth to the Moon' series) More than the bootlegs, but at least some pirate won't be getting my money.
