The White Rose
That's what I hate about cable TV, films always start on the middle or at the end, you have to wait for a lucky day or until 4am to see the beginning

Hey Za. I caught this one a while back. The film mostly portrays her interrogation and trial. You knew what was going to happen at the end but I thought it was quite powerful due to the manner in which they showed it.
I'd give it a 7/10.

Just watched 'The 49th Parallel' and loved every minute of it. Fantastic propaganda piece, thoroughly well made and very entertaining.

Walter Cronkite was a WWII correspondant
Why we Fight - 1942
Through Frank Capra's compilation of contrasting images, some of which were taken from captured propaganda footage, the documentary series, "Why We Fight," portrays the fascist threat to the free world. The collection contains: "Prelude to War and The Nazi Strike," "Divide and Conquer," "The Battle of Britain," "The Battle of Russia," "The Battle of China" and "War Comes to America."

Re: What have you been watching?
Saw Enigma over the weekend and I must say I am not keen on these fact/fiction films spliced together. The fact side of the film was interesting as for the film on the whole was average, I question the fact a U-Boat is going to sit on the surface and do nothing when an aircraft comes in.

'Baskeyfield VC' is an amateur effort in the best sense of the word - the maker was absolutely determined that Baskeyfield shouldn't be forgotten.....
