I recently got a War Classics pack of 50 movies, so last night I watched Hell in Normandy.

If your a Richard Basehart fan, try watching: "Decision Before Dawn" which is also out on DvD as of about a year and a half ago.
Recently watched Robert Ryan in a great postwar filmed on location in Germany, movie called: Berlin Express. I THINK this one might be on DvD but not 100% sure?
Also watched: The General Died At Dawn w/ Gary Cooper. This one has him out-witting Chinese Militia.

Re: What have you been watching?
( dangerous moonlight )
just as hitler's nazi army goosr steps in poland a celebrated composer and pianist is tricked into fleeing his country for england torn between his
patriotism and his love for music he decided to forsake his music career to join a british bomber squadron to avenge the death of his countrymen you're taken into the cookpit and gunners seats of this mighty flying battleship for actual
aerial combat it's the most heart stoping war action your ever likely to experience
staring .anton walbrook. sally gray. derrick demarnney .cecil parker.
best krieg...

The General Dies at Dawn is not a Western nor really a war movie. It's basically about some people who are trying to make average Chinese citizens to take up "arms" against an evil ""War-lord"" and overthrow him and his regieme. It's not a great movie but, it's not bad either. This is a mid to late 1930's Gary Cooper movie. Anyway, it's worth havinig in any movie collection.
Last night I finshed watching: Stargate and then watched: The Bedford Incident. Started season 3, of Daniel Boone--today. ;-))

Re: What have you been watching?
Saw what apparently was a mini-marathon of Don Knotts movies last night and into the morning. They are: The Reluctant Astronaut, The Shakiest Gun in the West and How to Frame a Figg? It was nice a change of pace.
Rest in Peace Don-you are sorely missed.

Re: What have you been watching?
I was upset last night with the episode of John Adams. It was a perfect set-up to educate people of both the XYZ Affair and the Quasi War. They missed it completly. I don't think there should have been much, but just enough to make people ask questions about it.
