Re: What have you been watching?
Just received three more episodes from the TV series "Rat Patrol." I saw the first episode and I think it was a bit slow for me. Still, as a kid, I was mesmerized when I watched the reruns on TV. It's fascinating to learn how different the old TV shows I liked as a kid when I watched them again years later. I just found out that "Combat" is again on Philippine TV. Unfortunately, it's being shown at 3 p.m. and there's no TV at hand for me at that time.

Had I known you almost a year ago, i'd have gladly given to you, the entire first season on DvD. ;-)) This show lasted for two seasons. The main reason I bought the 1st season is because im a Christopher George fan. Christopher George was opposite John Wayne in the excellent Western: El Dorado.
PS, currently watching on DvD, the Planet of the Apes TV series. Roddy McDowell was very good at his craft.

Re: What have you been watching?
Band of Brothers, the one where Captain Steele runs through the Germans lines to give orders, he runs past the German field gun and over a wall, then he runs back , love that part.

Re: What have you been watching?
^You mean Spiers?
Anyway, I got the first season of Dogfights delivered to me a few days ago by mail, and that's what I have been watching. So far; pretty good. I watched "The Zero Killer" today, and on the 27th, I'll probably do a back to back viewing of "Hunt for the Bismarck" and my copy of "Sink the Bismarck".

Re: What have you been watching?
Ive been watching many things lately. Band of brothers my favourite episode has to be crossroads or Breaking point. I have also been watching one of my favourites, All Quiet on the Western Front (1930), can't get enough of it. Oh and yes i am a lord of the rings nerd so i have been watching the triology Unless my brother is watching some john wayne movies on teh big screen. He literally has all his movies, hes obsessed, he likes his older westerns alot but i like the sons of katy elder myself and a few others.

Is that one where a Tiger gets stuck in a small alley in a town and is unable to turn its turrent becuase of trees and buildings, and the Main charcter in his Sherman hits it in the engine at almost point blank?
If so, then that is not a bad flick.

Ya, that's the one. First shot was a paint shell.
Watched the Indy 500 yesterday. Boy, Danica Patrick looked really pissed when her car got taken out.
AMC channel is running an all day military movie marathon today. Probably watch some of that.

Indy? I don't know about that, what about the Bathurst 1000 in the V8 Supercar series? oh wait, you guys other then Krieg probably don't know what that is. lol
Well lets just say it is a good max speed 380km\h, tight corners and 6 hours later the finish of the race.
You watch the Bathurst Krieg?
