I got around too watching last night and I found it very interesting indeed it has been over shadowed by the WW2 Blitz and I found it to be very refreshing too pick up on new info. It was interesting to see then officer's and enlisted were capture on the Western Front, the German interrogators asked them what they knew of the Zeppelin bombings, officer’s of cause said they had no military value what so ever and the enlisted were concerned about the news of what was happing back home.

1916 should have been the big year for the Zeppelins but for the fact we had inventing the incendiary bullet which finally stopped the Zeppelin’s cold, the programme ended with the first German bomber plane. Once again Timewatch delivered a very good programme.

Good program, It was strange to see the film of the charred bodies (and indentations in the ground!) from the fallen Zeppelins as just the week before I'd been at their graves at Cannock Chase German Cemetary, took some photos:
