It is interesting that you brought that point up, if you have viewed Linda Hunt's narrative of Auschwitz, Inside the Nazi State, they portray the Camp Kommandant, Rudolf Höss as a loving husband and father but brutal engineer of the Death Camp. Hans Gudegast has an interesting viewpoint from a psychological perspective on how people could be caring to some yet brutal and evil to others.
I thought it was a good film rather than an action movie but thanks for your response.
