I watched this foriegn film on TV last night about a Polish teen that was Jewish and it was pretty good. The plot is alittle far fetched but overall not bad. He fleas the Germans and is taken by the Russians, and then is taken by the Germans and then back by the Russians. The only real flaw was when the Germans got bombed by a C-130. I guess they could not get a Lancaster.

The movie is sub-titled in English and is not too bad to watch. I would give it 75 out of 100.

You see it may sound far fetched but IIRC it is a true story (Soloman Perel is the chap at the end praying). Either way, a fantastic film!

I saw the movie several years ago. It was a good story, I'm glad he survived to tell his story.

I wonder how many more Jews there were who had experiences similar to his?
