really ? they have defunckted the you tube vids also......

I got a huge thank you after I got home this afternoon from one of the aces in the squadron, as his LH*U from the left side went by, he got really tickled at that......and wanted to know where the heck I got the film and who took the vid.

Carl wish I could get it to you in a different format

Hi E, yup the libraries computers don't let me see much. At times like this, I sure do miss using the Museums computer. Also and, I might be hooked up at home as early as August, as I might be moving to H-town.

Oh and, if I do indeed move to H-town, i'll have access to many more Vets (American and German) as well as more militaria and guns. They have their best Gun/Militaria show early in the year in February. I'm looking forward to attending them as there is always someone famous there. That's where I met and got autographs from David Lee "Tex" Hill and Dutch Van Kirk.

Great color footage - a lot of that stuff is surfacing thankfully. One minor clarification - I think "Yellowjackets" actually was the nickname for the 361st Fighter Group because of the yellow group colors on the cowlings of its P-47s and P-51s.
