Question Das Boot

Is it true there is a full nine hour version of this classic Das Boot?

I got the six part TV series that runs for 282 minutes along with the Director's Cut runs for 200 minutes.

No, there isn't a nine hour version.

282 minutes is all there is.

I have to agree with you after having a good look around for it, seems someone is pulling my leg.

Well, if you add up what you've got, that's about 480 minutes, or 8 hours - is that maybe what someone meant?

I'm willing to bet that someone was exaggerating on the 9-hour bit.

I would lay good odds on that one.
