Red Baron
Not WW2 I know but something I'm sure loads of folks have heard about and are interested in, the Red Baron movie. Been watching the VFX reel and trailer on youtube so for your viewing pleasure I present:
YouTube - VFX Reel - The Red Baron (2008)
YouTube - Red Baron Movietrailer feat. "Countdown To Insanity"
It looks exciting, I'm not sure how good it's going to be really (the sound track on the trailer being something of a heads up). The fact that it claims not to be historically accurate is another little flag. What do you folks think?

Re: Red Baron
Looking good. Hope the end result will be as good too. I hope the movie will be able to tell us about the man as well and not just the battles raging up in the sky....

Re: Red Baron
It looks very good! I would hope that they would be historically accurate, but we all know that is not "Hollywood's" way!

Re: Red Baron
Well, it's not Hollywood but an entirely European film. The other thing is that it involves a love affair between TRB and a German nurse, something for which there is no evidence. Finally there is the controversy over Brown shooting down Richthoven (which he does in the film).

Re: Red Baron
Yeah sorry, I shouldn't have used that term, I just meant film makers in general.
