Hi Kai, i've only seen part of this movie (as I am a Curt Jurgens fan) and I recall what I saw was good. I too plan on getting a copy of it. BTW, when I was in Germany, I saw it's remake advertised on those round billboards. I don't remember what exactly City I was in when I saw it, but it could have been when Susanne and I were in Konstanz?? or possibly in Lubeck??? Anyway, yes, the movie is worth having and i'd like to get it's remake as well if possible??????

Hi Kai, quite welcome and please let me know what you think of it when possible? I'd like to add this to my collection mainly because im a Curt Jurgens fan ;-)) I did a check of the remake and as of yet-not released on tape or DvD. I remember the picture on the poster and the uniform I saw in it (the Generals) looked very good. ;-D
