Today as I was watching part 3 of Apocalypse: The second world war, they mentioned Hitler's need to help out Mussolini. When they talk about Rommel they make note of saying that he was "a true Nazi" because he did everything Hitler asked of him. I find myself not exactly angry but more or less frustrated at such an insult to one of history's greatest professional soldiers. The show seemed to be quite good so far but im not sure how they could allow that to slip in.


Im also curious about other false statements made in the docs that you guys watch.

The other night on the War in the Atlantic trilogy there was a slip about the enigma machine. No mention of the British code breakers. It was an American sailor with a convoy protection ship talking about how they broke the codes.

With reference to Rommel, how cold they say he was a perfect Nazi and Hitlers RH man when he was implicated in the plot to kill Adolf Hitler???

Someones not done their homework.
