Re: Calling all "recruits"
what about 'trolls' ? I have seen other boards ruined by these online parasites who look for trouble and just want to generally make everyones life miserable. any issues with them here? or perhaps they are the dishonorably discharged members whose profiles I see here with a line through their names? I am curious

Re: Calling all "recruits"
That is correct. There are a certain number of possibilties going from a warning and/or and email , a few days in the cooler, or a permanent ban for trolls looking for trouble. They usually get spotted right away and even if we miss them, some of the rogues can report them.

Yes, Katrina, just as Skipper related. I have very little tolerance for those who come in here just to stir up the caacaa. Otto, the owner of this and another good forum, likes to keep a clean ship, and we do.

I joined recently as I was impressed with the knowledge, photos and general useful/interesting information on this site, anything that keeps it that way sounds good to me

Re: Calling all "recruits"
The little "Nazi" invasion we had a little while ago is a good example. They were all dealt with in a timely manner .

Hello Katrina....
Yes, we occasionally have such problems. There is a 'Panzerpenguin' who deals with many of them, and as for myself, I favour a method which you may appreciate.....

Martin, how dare you refer to him in such a manner! Quote: "PanzerPenguin" You should know better! Luckily, I have managed to soothe the feathers of our fearless der PanzerPenguin (note correct terminology and italics when referring to our little feathered friend) and he will let you off the hook this time!
But indeed, loves to kill !

Erich:thanks for the compliment! its my original art that I drew and colored. I see a spent round ejecting from the fg42. I like my trolls in the original recipe flavor!

Re: Calling all "recruits"
Hang on a minute, missy! There is no problem whatsoever in "liking the bad guys", just watch my avatar!
It's quite alright having a preference for the Axis side, in whatever aspect you choose. Problem is when you take up a certain ideology in detriment of others, and pursue it in an unpleasantly aggressive way.
I "like" Russians. Fine. You "like" Germans. Fine. I offend nobody with my tastes, and of course you won't be offending anyone with yours. That's what makes the world go round

I agree...diversity is what makes up as people interesting and it would be very boring if we all only loved the Allies and Churchill et al, not to say that I don't, I just find the axis more interesting? actually, my interest at times borders on the extreme but never spills over to 'sieg heiling' or the like. my poor parents though...buying a sgt. Rock or GI combat comic for their 7 year old daughter ...who began to learn about german uniforms from Russ heath and Sam Glanzman.
