What does they mean by "This must be a complete URL"? I have tried some pictures but it doesn't work. What am i doing wrong? Please help.

In order to post any picture (be it in a post, on your profile etc) you need to have a complete URL...so here's the deal

find your picture (it needs to be posted on the webpage) and right mouse click on it. Scroll down to "properties" and click there. A pop up should show and listed among the other info should be the URL (it will include http://and so on)...copy it and paste it between the UBB codes:
</font><blockquote>code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">[img] http://yourpictureaddyhere.jpg [/img] </pre>[/quote]if you're looking for a picture in your avatar (ie mine is one of Mussolini) you need to reach 100 posts.

URL means Uniform Resource Locator, this is the full address starting with http through to the dot whatever or end extension. They say “use the full URL” because in some set-ups you can use only the http and the domain name. The set-up then has a referrer facility which links and directs you to the full URL address. Sites use this to make remembering the address easier. If you’re linking to such an address, this site requires the full URL address not just the referral link.

Again on this site, at the front of an image address you need to have [img] and [/img] at the end of it with no spaces to make it work. If it makes the code easier to remember, you can spell out the command words in full, as with [image] and [/image]. The / signifies the end of the command and is quite universal in its use.

Aaaaargh, please help me! I can't get my avatar to work! Can anyone of you guys with a face as an avatar (DUCE, Friedrich H and others) give me the link to the place were your avatar is. Just so that i can see with my own eyes how the picture shall be and so on, so that i can have an avatar. I will not use your avatar if you think that. I just want an anvatar for my own...

1: go to the top left corner of the homepage.

2: scroll to the bottom of that page.

3: click on advatars.

or oen your profile(top right corner of homepage) and click on "» View/Update Profile « "

half way down that page you will see the advatar section. click on the link and hten select your advatar.
